Review: Despite his first name, Brigante comes from southern Spain rather than having a Teutonic origin. It hasn't stopped him releasing on German labels and Memories is his latest outing for Booka Shade and DJ T's imprint. "Four Years Ago" is an insistent, niggling tech-house groove. It resounds to tinkling cowbells and percussive stabs and is full of good-natured, sunny vibes. Get Physical has drafted in UK house stalwart Luke Solomon to provide two remixes of the title track. On his main take, jubilant horns join the rollicking groove, while the 'Raw Take' sees him add in some wired 303 lines for an acid house party during Rio's Carnival.

Review: German Brigante, despite his name: is actually a Spaniard. The rising star has thus far appeared on a who's who of labels such as Saved, OFF, Defected and of course Get Physical: who present us with this impressive full length offering. Bipolar is a great name for this moody offering over ten quite diverse selections of dancefloor grooves. We really enjoyed the deep and dreamy tech house of "The Ones" featuring Nick Maurer's seductive vocals, the bouncy and sexy late night grooves of "Be Right Back" and "30 Degrees" (definite Saved/Gruuv vibes on this!), the dark side electro vibes of "Microluxe (808 Mix)" and the epic, dark, melodic journey track "We Got It" (a highlight!).
