Review: Berlin legend Dietrich Bergmann aka Terranova has sure found his comfort zone on the Kompakt imprint, where he's presented three albums and nearly a dozen EPs over the last several years. All of these tracks on the Singularity EP are inspired by a current fascination with artificial intelligence and robotic technology and features three collaborations as well as two originals. From the moody dancefloor drama of "Let It Fail", the beatless ambient adventure of "Powergrid" or the slinky and melodic tech house of "Escape Ism" that builds with tension and suspense - it's another brilliant release by the artist formerly known as Fetisch.
Review: Berlin legend Terranova kicks off 2018 with a bang on the 'Cosmo' EP. Four quality tracks showcasing some of the most exciting material yet in his impressive discography. Following an excellent entry into Kompakt's Speicher series and the much acclaimed 'Restless' LP, Dietrich Bergmann aka Fetisch is the creative mind and producer behind this project that he likes to describe as 'the deep space electric ark' and has been in orbit since the release of his 'DJ Kicks' mix for !k7 in 1997. He now returns to the spotlight, inspired by raw Chicago house, early NYC Electro and retro-futurist aesthetics on some very special analog/digital machines. Featuring two excellent collaborations with Milan based artists like Flashmob on the swing fuelled and dubby "Cosmochord" and Voltague on the brooding and hypnotic minimalism of "Cosmocode". In addition, there is the dirty afterhours tech house of "Perfect Happiness" plus the bleepy and uplifting "Langsam".
