Review: 'Legion' is another highlight from the newly enlarged Milton Keynes four piece's latest - and most accomplished - album to date, 'Lovescope'. Over a chugging breakbeat-speed rhythm that sees Stevie Vega (keyboards & DJ) and Gary Morland (guitars/bass/keyboards) trading guitar licks and radioactive synth lines, the band's frontman Craig Hammond delivers some rabble rousing oratory about the ultimate power of the masses, augmented as ever by the heavenly, gliding singing of Ian McEwan come chorus time. It's a gloriously riotous noise that harnesses the power of rock music and hitches it to the back bumper of their dance vehicle, incorporating breaks, acid, techno and electro. Hold tight, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
