Review: Here's something unexpected: a disco-centric cover version of Mylo's cheery, synth-heavy 2004 house anthem by Paper Disco boss Flash Atkins, 2 Billion Beats and vocalist Ladydriver. The "Original Mix" is warm and groovy, with cute, Chic-esque guitar riffs, jaunty synth stabs, tipsy horns and deep space chords wrapping around bustling disco drums and the track's famous bassline (here played on bass guitar rather than synthesizer). The alternate mixes are pretty tasty, too. The "Vocoder Dub" wisely gives more prominence to the killer bassline, while the "Lakeshouse Remix" re-imagines the track as a breezy romp through piano-laden disco-house territory. Also worth checking is the revelatory "Marma Boog" remix - a slow, synth-heavy and delay-laden rework that's as Balearic as acid casuals, pastel-coloured dungarees and Jose Padilla's ponytail.

Review: New York City wunderkinds The Martinez Brothers have proudly proclaimed that London institution fabric has been essential to the story of their journey as DJs, and has remained close to their hearts ever since we played there the first time back in 2013. Growing up on the streets of The Bronx, Chris & Steve went on to tour the world with dance music royalty such as Dennis Ferrer, Erick Morillo and Louie Vega before they had even finished high school and run two acclaimed labels - Cuttin' Headz and Tuskegee with Seth Troxler. Review: Deep In The Jungle Records is a UK jungle imprint that have been making bigger and bigger waves over the past several years, a big part of which is their affinity for fat compilations that straddle numerous sub-genre boundaries and which represent lots of different artists. This next one is about classics and it features artists like Conrad Subs, Kumarachi, DJ Hybrid, Kartoon and more. Conrad Subs is a favourite of ours and his cut, Takeover, is a wicked, deep rolling piece of work that packs a sick bassline, one which makes you think of late-night raving at its finest. This is a top compilation from a star label of the new wave.
