Review: Argentinian house hero Guti is still going strong after all this time, and this new one for The Martinez Brothers' Cuttin' Headz imprint is a testament to the fact. Following up some great releases in recent times on Desolat, Fuse London and his very own Rompecorazones imprint, Guti Bacchetti serves up some sweltering heat on "Red Eye" which features a dirty, swing-fuelled shuffle with druggy vocal murmurs with trippy evolving chords to get that proper trance induction in effect. Desolat head honcho Loco Dice sure gets the party vibes happening darn well with his rendition, while Romanian scene hero Priku makes a surprising addition - he delivers a reduced and hypnotic remix which we enjoyed the most!

Review: Mark Knight & Co. are straight up with their latest title - but considering their current 15th birthday celebrations, these guys can do whatever they want - they hardly do wrong anyway! House, Tech House, Techno Vol 2 does exactly what is says on the tin with a whopping 62 tracks and three continuous mixes - each dedicated to said subgenre. From that massive remix of Fatboy Slim's "Right Here, Right Now" by current scene favourites CamelPhat, Saved main man Nic Fanciulli's collaboration with Damon Albarn on "Saying" (Kolsch remix), label head honcho Knight himself steps up to deliver the pumping and white noise filled "We Get High From The Music" (feat Mr V) and the inimitable Danny Howells is always welcome - particularly with a track as electrifying as the recently released "Isolar".

Review: Hallelujah it's DJ Spen with a new testament of vocal heavy, diva-praising gospel house. Justify yourself with tracks by The BlackKnight and soulful piano numbers by Assurance. With the compilation pumping in around the 130bpm mark there's "Heaven" to be found in the sweet high notes of a Stacy Kidd, Tasha LaRae & DJ Spen' collaboration, and according to Byron Stingily "It's all Jesus". Review: The tireless Jon Nedza once again dons his Gazeebo guise, this time for a remixed version of his Made In Mars mini-album. There are three tracks from the original set under the remix knife ("Hyperspace Hotmix", "Planet Boogie" and "Red Eye To Saturn"), with a pleasing variety of reworks on offer. Contrast, for example, the electroboogie-era hip-hop vibes of DJ Raw Sugar's version of "Hyperspace Hotmix" with Roctiv's two deep house-meets-electrofunk mixes of the same track. While all of these rubs hit the mark, it's Trotter who delivers the stand-out remix, layering subtle scratches and hip-hop vocal samples over a laidback disco groove featuring live bass, pianos and clavinet chords.
