Review: Both spotted on DJ Hybrid's Deep In The Jungle imprint, the ever-sharpened sonics of RMS and Dcision appear in full widescreen EP form on his flagship label Audio Addict. The outcome is every bit as gully, necksnappy and happy slappy as you'd want it to be: "Feel The Melody" taps deep into the timeless rave aesthetics, "This Is My Sound" loops up a sultry Riya-style vocal with savage soul results while Shotz joins the fray for a KO finale where the bass tears everything within a two mile radius a new one. For added kicks, RMS throws in the solo sampler salute "Back To Reality", a bumper so heavy in reference points you might just singe your whiskers. Living the dream.

Review: The trouble with Tonbe is you've no sooner finished reviewing one long-player than the next one arrives! With such a prolific output, it's all the more wonder that the Serbian nu-disco stalwart manages to maintain the quality standard - but make no mistake, quality is what you get here. One or two tracks (eg opener 'Live My Life') veer a little too far down the pop route, but just check out the strutty 'This Is Party', euphoric Hammond workout 'Change The Mood' or the jazz-tastic closing triptych that begins with 'Keep On Moving, Keep On Grooving' and you'll surely agree that Tonbe is a rare talent indeed.

Review: Predictably, Parisian eccentric Joakim is on fine form on this fifth album, his first since 2011's stylised Nothing Gold. As you'd perhaps expect, Tropics of Love isn't easy to pin down. Joakim's usual influences - acid house, synth-pop, glitch-hop, new wave and classic electronica - are all present, this time joined by an orange-hued Balearic sensibility that courses through album highlights "Man on the Moon" and Neil Young cover "On The Beach". Of course, it's not all wide-eyed bagginess with one eye on the horizontal, post-club market; as you'd expect, the album's more upbeat moments - particularly the brilliant "This Is My Life", in which a computerised voice recounts key moments in the producer's music development - all hit home hard.

Review: A diamond within the expansive catalogue of labels like Timewarp and in particular, Kraak, the downtempo and exotic sounds of Medras return! Delivering an 11-track LP that delves into a classic '90s and early 2000s sound of chill electronica, deep Baelerica, trip hop and left-field house inspirations. A particular call out is the deep and melodic dancefloor jam that is "Lost" that appears next to more effervescent house numbers made for Ibiza like "Play With Me". With super-charged hip hop and IDM colliding in "This Is My Life", more disco-powered new wave sessions come through "Religion". Real name Christos Christogiorgos, aka Medras, also dives into a world of ethic timbres, rock, funk, folk and psychedelia influences that come through in album tracks like "I Wanna See You", "Mellow" and "Life Goes On".

As you'd expect given his vast experience, Back 2 Life is impeccably produced and polished, with Dive wisely opting for a melodious, atmospheric and hypnotic sound that smartly combines elements of Teutonic tech-house, All Day I Dream style melodic house, deep house and dub-flecked minimalism. It's a formula that guarantees ear-pleasing thrills throughout, with our picks of a very strong bunch including the hazy outer-space shuffle of 'Let's Get It On', the deliciously tuneful and picturesque title track and the immersive, sub-heavy hypnotism of Whispering Voices'.
