Review: The history of MacArthur Park is a bizarre one what with it being both a hit for a histrionic, and possibly drunk, Richard Harris and glittering disco diva Donna Summer. Now it takes a new twist appearing as a remix mini-album of a version by Tracy Hamlin. DJ Spen & Thommy Davis provide both euphoric disco-house and ten minute house remixes. Elsewhere "Take Me To Paris" gets turned into deep, techy garage by Yass Parisian, Nadinga Gaba goes instead for a super-glossy dance-pop take and DJ Oji injects a bit of cred into the proceedings with his jackin rework.
