Review: It's new Orland Boom fire on our charts, and that means we can all vibe out to some post-trap vibes! The young producer is up on Not Like That Music with more of his tropical drum-machine workouts, recalling a post-modernist version of Egyptian Lover or some other 1980s 808 business. "Parallelogram" is all about the cowbell groove, full of summer joy and good vibes, unleashing a wonderfully seductive bassline that blurs the lines between elector, disco and Chicago's footwork tradition - some real 2018 gear. "Pyt Tool" is the darker experiment, the more broken loop-tool that brings in an itchy selection of vocal chops for added flavour and maximum impact on the dancefloor.
