Review: Since making his vinyl debut in 2011, Ukrainian producer Volta Cab has continued to be a busy boy. Amazingly, this is his 14th release in three years. In its original form "I Feel Good In My Skin" is typical of his recent outings. Featuring a syrupy-sweet soul vocal from Frank H Carter III, it sits somewhere between deep house, disco and nu-disco, with all manner of positive elements layered atop a hustling dancefloor groove. The remix package is impressive, too, with Dead Rose Music Company (feelgood summer house) and Ray Mang & Severino (classic US house with a Chicago acid twist) delivering ear-pleasing versions.
