Review: What an incredible link up this one is as the king of crunch, known to the world as Bonobo, links up with T.E.E.D for a delightful two track experiment, doused in euphoric energy and production class throughout. We begin with 'Heartbreak', a summer-time breakbeat epic, perfect for the late-night BBQ setting as big room vocal leads sit atop of pulsating chord lines and super groovy breaks for a proper party-starting vibe. On the flip, '6000' alongside Outlier takes a slightly slower path, focussing primarily on acidic filtration and classy 4x4 drum beats, adding some real contrast to the A-side. This is a top quality link up to say the least and we can't wait to hear more from the two outfits in unison!

Review: Bringing a progressive, melodic and breakbeat sound back out of the Australian hinterland is three-piece Broson, still reeling from their breakout self-titled album released this year on Ninja Tune. Blending R&B infused vocals sung in breathy Junior Boys-like textures, the group's housey flavours, trance and new age rave elements are brought out in a new set of colours by the likes of Skream's deep club mix to "Know Me" alongside the modular twinkles and UK sub bass of Blip Discs debutat, O'Flynn ("Vaults). Heavy and subbed-out kicks bring a dubbed out groove to Tunnelvisions' remix of "Dawn" (feat Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs) with Defected act Offaiah bringing a creamy smooth mix to "Heart Attack" (feat Lau.ra). Progressive trance heads: look to Cassian for his remix of the album's original hit number "Know Me".

Review: More than any other dance label, Damian Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels has a knack of signing timeless house music. It's evident on this, the second Rebel Rave instalment, with Guti & Dubshape's "Every Cow Has a Bird" offering a classic sound, as a disco groove unfolds to reveal rolling bongos and jazzy piano keys, or on Subb-an's "Misleading", a glorious deep house arrangement with a garage groove. However, there are also some excellent reinventions of the house style; Jamie Jones's "Summertime" reveals a darker side to deep house as a menacing bass surges to the fore; Quenum's "Woman Talk About Woman" features a crazy vocal freestyle over a jazzy groove and best of all, Art Department's "Without You" sounds like a dislocated, paranoid update on Nu Groove's bassy tracks.

The compilation also spans many different sub-genres of house, from booty, electro, tech and more dancehall-inspired tunes, creating one hell of a party and one beauty of an addition to Southern Fried's catalogue! Review: German electro artist Boyz Noize is back with a vengeance on this new full length which runs the whole the gamut from classic electro flavours right through to dirty tech house and even a bit of acid for good measure. Testament to his success are the rather interesting collaborations on offer with special guests such as long-time fan and Turbo boss Tiga teaming up on "808-Irag" for some seriously druggy dancefloor antics. "Openn" features the legendary Uwe Schmidt aka Atom TM where they venture into more experimental waters, naturally but will easily warp minds on the dancefloor, no problem. But it's "Spacer" with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs which is undoubtedly the highlight with its epic and soulful melancholia. All in all a brilliant effort and return to form for Alex Ridha.

Review: UK rising star Redlight returns for retroverts Unknown To The Unknown, after his previous City Jams EP on sister label Hot Haus Recs. On the rolling rave attack of "Gamma Ray" with its exotic vocal jack, it sounds somewhat reminiscent of an old Guy Called Gerald classic. It receives a brilliant remix by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, which accentuates the late '80s aesthetic in neon-lit fashion. The controversial Marquis Hawkes' rendition likewise delivers a perspective from house music's seminal era, but this one is more rooted in the early '90s. "Equinox" continues on with his penchant for old school rave aesthetics with this evocative breaks driven masterpiece.

Review: Taken from new album Indigo Child, "When Angles Sing" sees garage/UKF/soul/house journeyman Donae'o drop a hugely affecting and soulful original backed by some huge name remixers. With Terri Walker joining the Don over a soft, strings 'n' piano-blessed funky beat, the original recalls classic Brit soul artists like Omar and Imagination for its sheer lusciousness, while Donae'o provides his own half-step dubstep retweak on the release too. Toddla T busts out a bunch of phasers on his sped-up piano house mix, while Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs takes "When Angels Sing" on a beautifully dubby slow electro-meets-nu jazz excursion that compliments the dual vocals perfectly. Lil Silva on the other hand goes for a full on rinse out with some huge builds and metallic percussion all present and correct.
