Review: Fresh from flexing his offal, electro-melter Datassette lets rip with four peachy new originals. The brilliantly titled "Mannequin On The Run" opens with a soft sense of barbed triumph. Perhaps a pyrrhic victory where there's a dark twist to the winsome narrative. Elsewhere "Death Perception" is a wall of sound hurricane that blasts at you in powerful waves while "Metropolis Light Transport" is the lounge music of a 23rd century pleasure lounge. Finally we slide into a luxuriant slo-mo analogue bubble bath where the touching melancholy cascades and spirals hit with just the right amount of poignancy. Not a datashat in sight.
