Review: UK production trio Disciples released their third killer single for this year titled "Atheist" a few months ago, with vocals by Nathan Duvall. It follows up the brilliant "48HRS" and "On My Mind". Now it gets served with some terrific remixes that are equally as worthy of your attention. First up is Nottingham based rising star Latmun, who is fresh off releases for top labels like Hot Creations and Relief Records. His rendition is a tough rolling, tech house stomper with the main room in mind - we are fairly sure this one will get a proper rinsing on The White Isle this summer. This is followed by Paddington based DJ S.K.T's version of the track, which takes things down a couple of notches and delivers a sexy and emotive tribal/progressive styled groove - this is perfect to play during the sunset.
Review: This remix package should be something of a treat for those who like their electro-house big, bashy, crunchy and in-your-face. Joachim Garraud leads the way riding a wave of gated riffs, booming beats and cheeky electric piano stabs. Fine Touch lives up to his name with a colossal bullder, before Roberto Sansixto and Jo Cappa flip the script, delivering a big room electro-tech remix that rises and falls in all the right places. Dick Ray (snigger) opts for a sweaty tribal stomper - all relentless drums and little else - before Ba51K pulverises the dancefloor to smithereens with a formidable wobble-step roller.
Total Recall (Steve Kaetzel remix) - (8:02) 128 BPM
Total Recall (radio edit) - (3:44) 128 BPM
Review: In the trance game for over a decade the UK's Future Disicple is one of the most under-rated and overlooked producers on the scene. Stand out singles like '28 Tracks Later' garnered an unprecedented amount of radio and DJ support. The past few months have seen a consistent slew of music filtered through the various Black Hole labels, with the latest 'Total Recall' getting most attention. Another film homage showcasing his quality talent, with groovier percussion then usual creating a relentless rolling vibe.
Review: With a decade of consistent productions under his belt, Future Disciple is one of the most underrated talents in trance. From releases on K90's label to '28 Tracks Later', he garners support from the likes of Judge Jules (Radio1) and Ferry Corsten with every tune. His latest release on Black Hole's Songbird has already grabbed the attention of Above & Beyond on there TATW show, and will no doubt be sticking around for months to come. Both tracks are worthy of front of wallet spots, check them out!
