Review: FU.ME continues its tradition of split releases with The Orbitants 3, bringing together some of contemporary electro's most respected producers. DJ Overdose's signature sound is audible on "Astor", where swirling sound scapes and dramatic synths unfold over mid-paced beats. In contrast, Credit 00's "Delete Wack MCs" ops for a Detroit-inspired aesthetic. Led by a mournful bass and dreamy synths, it's a wonderfully dramatic affair. Fastgraph's "The Tunnel" is more abrasive. Featuring a jarring rhythm, gut-busting bass and crafty builds, it's primed for dance floor use. Gamma Intel explores esoteric sounds on "Papenthin". Rolling drums and brooding bass are combined with jittery melodies, making for a distinctive finale.
