Joining him on this stellar trip are IYRE, Villem, Leo Wood, Natus, Maykors and Gemma Rose and the view is every bit as stunning as you'd expect. From the breath-taking vocals and soul of 'Venus' to the dreamy spring and bounce of 'Neptune' via the much darker, pensive momentum of 'Jupiter', it's an intriguing and exciting project that encompasses many great talents of dnb scene, including Alpha Rhythm himself. Review: G13 rewind to two of their many heavy-hitting highlights and revise with two killer remixes: Pacso's 2011 breakthrough bumper "The Trick" gets a turbo-charged twist from Turno as the original's dense layers are peeled away to make sure the cinematic arpegiated sample and bullish bass hook are brought much closer to the fore. Alpha's 2013 "Frozen Black" is also subverted in style by Upgrade. While the original had a relentless pace to its drums, Upgrade adds more space to the beats to let the newly-tuned bass hook really shine. Two great versions of jump-up contemporisation.

Review: Ireland isn't the first place you'd think of when it comes to sturdy soundsystem dub flavours, but Cian Finn is quickly changing this perception with some deep, driving conscious mic craft. It's clear his years as front man for Irish festival faves Intinn have paid off as we're treated to a series of versions, each one paying attention to a different aspect of dub. Highlights include the sonorous hollow tones of Radikal Guru's version of "Ireland Dub" and the raw stomp of Alpha Steppa's "9 Years Dub". Serious soundsystem material!

Review: RMXD is Armando 'Alpha 606' Martinez' second release on Interdimensional Transmissions and is the rather tardy follow up to 2008's Electronica Afro-Cubano. Flanked by high-profile remixers, Martinez does well to impress with "808 Trax". A linear drum track takes a ride through an inner city at night, the screeches, groans and howls of its nocturnal population kept under the surface by steely claps. Label owner BMG's take on "Armambo" is similarly inclined, this time with spacey undercurrents fusing with tight 808s. Erika's version of "We Leave Tonight" is a more understated deep techno track, while at the other end of the spectrum, Anthony Shakir turns "808 Trax" into a full-on, drum-heavy techno track that is more complex than a spaghetti junction at rush hour.
