Review: Terror Danjah leads the way as grime specialists: Hardrive return to their release schedule with this insta-classic rally track by the name of 'Overproof'. It's been a little while since a selection of grime's finest teamed up on a shellout and Danjah provides the perfect backing here for the likes of Jammz, Gods Gift, Capo Lee, Trigga, Hitman Hyper and Irah to run riot, providing us with high energy and exciting bar structures. This is one that any grime selecta will want at the front of the bag for the foreseeable future.

Review: There really seems to be no stopping the LW Recordings collective as they march forward with the third edition of their Leftfield Bass Selections series, this time bringing together 25 powerhouse anthems, perfect for turning any dance to a zoo. Styles range from the futuristic breakbeat themes of 'Justice' from Paket, to the more relaxed 4x4 UKG rhythms of 'No One Gives A' from Flawless Order & G 'Baffled' Smoove. For us the immediate standouts from this one have to include Devil Dragon Tatoo's tech funky hybrid in 'Shaman', Brick Top's abstract riddim smasher in 'Prometheus' and of course Deep Impact's potent rework of 'Hot Ting', originally put together by Lady Waks & Mutantbreakz alongside MC Steppa Style.

Review: For some humming, deep dubstep that's as smooth as the silkiest liquid drum and bass check out the sinister sounds of Monti's lead cut "Ganymede". Sounds move further into threatening territory in "Dark Matter", a track that would suite an apocalyptic montage of a world that once was, while the "The Philosopher", although still deep, has a calming synth that takes the EP away from its dystopian disposition. Lastly, Monti teams up with Hit Man to deliver a spaced-out, eerie half time cut of sci-fi sounds.

Review: Danish dub dons Surfase celebrate their 25th release with a walloping 24-track refresh session that brings everyone up to speed on two years of monthly dispatches. All their decorated contributors are present and correct: RDG, G Double, Gaze Ill, Subtle Mind and many more. Highlights include the swooning strings and rattling drums of Server's "Boxing", Subreacher's chest-crushing bass wobbler "The Machine" and RDG's insanity work out "It's All In Your Mind". It's not in your mind, though... This is as real as it gets. Here's to another 25 killer releases.
