Review: Fresh from the release of their pleasingly epic (and immensely beautiful) album 'Destination Unknown II' on Bedrock, prolific long-serving twosome Pig & Dan make their bow on Get Physical. They've joined forces with You Plus One label founder - and Canadian scene veteran - Siavash to deliver two typically atmospheric, early morning-ready club cuts. First up is 'Get Down', a slowly unfurling workout in which echoing, stripped-back beats and a futuristic electronic bassline provide a pleasing platform for eyes-closed vocal snippets, sparkly synth sounds and warming bass. 'Try Again', meanwhile, successfully blurs the boundaries between hypnotic tech-house, hazy late-night workouts and the kind of unashamedly melodious progressive house numbers that Pig & Dan has long excelled at making.

Review: Milk & Sugar is a label that likes to take the bull by the horns. Particularly when it comes to technology. They are pushing the stems format for most of their releases and Oriano has fully signed up. Here you can have the drums synths, bass and vocals parts for your creative pursuits or you can have the whole thing. If you choose the latter though you get a tough, mid paced electro-house chant-along. Decisions, decisions!

Review: A Brooklyn-born house nabob, whose schooling in house music dates back to visits to Larry Levan's Paradise Garage no less, Candelario's latest jam comes with two different versions from the man himself. His "Strut" mix keeps things tightly arranged and dubby, allowing a heavily delayed vocal to give it a slow-building momentum, and his radically soulful "Club" mix that boasts a honeyed vocal and some impressive live keys work throughout. Further mixes from BNS, Pete Moss and DJ Sakaki add yet more flavour to this excellent single from MN2S.
