Review: The Mister Saturday Night team have given us a bit of a gem with this new EP from Ciel, who showcases a truly unique takes on electronic dance music, kicking off with the clicky goodness and collaborative energy of 'Hearing Voices' alongside Kilig, exploring swampy textures for a wavy introduction. From here, more bubbling pulses are unleashed in 'Mesmer', displaying aquatic atmospherics and unpredictable percussive pulses before 'The Seed' delivers another dose of tribal dancefloor punch. After this, we sweep into the eastern-sounding melodic jilts of 'Rosebud', which again switches the pace of the project, before the footwork-inspired drum shuffles and intense sub sweeps of 'A Collage For Jake & Emilie' sees the project out in style.
