Review: The Nice & Deadly crew have pulled together a very impressive collection of both artists and original recordings with this first volume of their new 'Bomba Patch' series. Over the course of 100 minutes of exciting new creations, we witness a magnificent blend of genres, from the electrifying basslines of 'Break My' from Cybass to the more retro drum work of Levi Lenzi's 'Gnosis' and the hardcore-influenced rhythms of 'Ta Fofinha' from Ananda. The whole project is swamped in original dancefloor flavour, welcoming 23 different artists to the table across twenty original thumpers. Our highlights would have to include the slightly eerie chord combinations of Pianki's 'Arquivo Morto', along with the subtle distorted wizardry and acidic flavours of Lucas Kid's 'Odio'. Solid work!
