Review: Brazilian Endrie is only in his infancy production-wise, but has already provided deep house lovers with some suitably sunny sounds via a solid debut release on Urban Dance. This second release continues that theme, with "Volta" in particular offering a languid blend of reliable bottom-end thump, smart percussion and groovy instrumentation (drifting accordions anyone?). While "Brainless Dub Rhodes" follows a similar path, the original is surpassed by a delightful slo-mo disco/house rub from Soundcloud gurus Irregular Disco Workers. There's also a hypnotic, late-night wiggler of a bonus cut, "Trip On", which gives the EP some much-needed 4am flavour.
