Review: A quiet achiever within the Berlin techno scene for some years now Irakli breaks through on Dial with his debut album Major Signals. Bringing a wholly analogue sound to his craft, Irakli sidesteps the sequencing and intensity of his music for Inkblots, Connwax or his I/Y collaboration for an abstract, cosmic yet still heavily techno influenced LP. With deeper and more structured settings coming out of numbers like "Surface", "This Way", "Sin" and "Major Signals'' you're gonna find some sweet ambient, crackle and pop passages in numbers like "Black Windows", "Self Update" and "Circles". A great first entry for Dial in 2021 following previous albums from Lawrence and XDB. Irakli hits the majors.
