Review: Introducing an exciting milestone for new label The Whoopee Collective, set to unveil the distinctive essence that has defined Lisbon's evolving sound through their renowned party series. Their inaugural release takes the form of a collaborative compilation, meticulously curated by their resident DJs Black Pomade (the slo-mo, neon-lit nu-disco of "Chicago O'Hare"), Jamaimoi (the low-slung funky house of "Drink Talk Kiss") and Larry Quest who gets seriously lysergic on the 303 journey of "DNA Settings". With utmost care, they have handpicked 12 tracks that have electrified the collective's ecstatic crowds, fusing the genres of house, disco and a touch of acid.
