Review: The sixth release on Neurodynamics sees Fractal Strangers return with another slamming release. The title track is a distinctive combination of Millsian analogue fury with Noom-style acid techno, that creates a mesmerising effect as 303 trails trance out over storming kicks. "Invisible Messages" is more stripped back, with a raw riff unfolding over a tough drum pattern, while on "Failed To Discover", Fractal Strangers opts for a harder, faster and more distorted variant on this approach. "Possible Supernova" and "Unstable Shape" are also intense, but on both occasions, the focus is on tweaked 303s and frazzled percussive backdrops. "Dynamic Substance" maintains the EP's high-octane tempo, but its spacey filters make it less intense.
