Review: French electro journeyman Fleck E.S.C now based outta Tokyo lines up the 486.134 EP for Science Cult, a fresh label to surface in 2019. The artist's instalment makes up the sixth iteration of the eight-part Astra Spectra series with five IDM inspired electro sessions that takes in the one remix by label co-founder Syrte. For that deeper groove, flecks of acid and pumpy kick drum look to "Hot Bath" that falls in line next to some deeper, industrial and spaced-out sound designs as heard in "Further Away". The IDM refrain comes in thanks to tracks like "Inflammatory" with its star-gazing electro motifs and sweeter synths, next to spangled worker's techno in "Lost Privileges" and Sytre's twisted fever dream of "Inflammatory".
