Review: Some strange yet captivating musique concrete from Gultskra Artikler aka Russian producer Alexey Devyanin from Novosibirisk. ECO LAN is about ecological lo-fi relaxation running to you through LAN wires. "Notification" features old game console sound effects and strange sound design over dreamy clavier sounds played intermittently. "Meditation" features lovely xylophones playing in unison and going out of phase ever slightly, while a whirling synth patch chases its own tail, down beneath. "Turning" sees him playing with some found sound on a tape loop which is very mysterious and a little unsettling but soothing all the same. The hiss and degradation crackling away while the pads on said tape pitch bend as a result is just amazing. Finally "Son" features a high pitched tom drum rinsed through a ping pong delay which hypnotises you while the sound of birds and immersive pads draw you in and make you surrender to the void. Tip!
