Sekt On The Beach (Tobi Dei Sektapella) - (1:22) 153 BPM
Review: Dutch act Flowerpowder deliver something quite different on Sprizztour. The title track is a rickety, stripped back house track that rumbles away in a lopsided manner, while on "Sekt on the Beach", the pair add some dubby undercurrents, sonourous bass and wispy tones to their uncoventional approach. The Oberst & Buchner version of the title track starts with watery sounds before descending into a glitchy, mid-tempo groove, full of atmospheric break downs. In keeping with the release's left of centre aesthetic, the Tobi Dei Sektapella of "Sekt" merely features the sound of corks popping and champer overflowing in glasses. It's an inspired end to this madcap release.
