Review
Second time around for Relative Depth and DJ Andryu's "Cafe Des Artistes" collaboration, a joyous fusion of pumping nu-disco bottom end and all manner of twittering musical flourishes (sleazy sax, piano solos, growling guitars etc). While the original is ear-pleasing from start to finish, what really makes this release is the expanded remix package. Hard-working Slovenian Sare Havlicek provides the stand-out rub, a typically bright-and-breezy interpretation that combines his love of squidgy nu-disco with a classic Balearic house sheen. There's also a sleazy, trip-hop on acid take from Loudtone and an everything-but-the-kitchen sink nu-disco workout from Nelue.Get new release alerts
