The Extended Afro Soul Mix is effectively the "original" in this instance and operates in broken beat territory, marrying Omar's unmistakable vocal to complex percussion and some sublime keys work, while the label boss teams up with Reelsoul for a rerub that'll take the track onto house floors with its lilting piano chords and hefty bassline. Both versions come accompanied by matching instrumentals for maximum playability, and given the talent roster involved, do the exquisite production values even need mentioning?
