Review: Located in a forest outside Jena, Muna is one of the longest-established clubs in Germany, and is approaching a quarter of a century in business. Its label arm is much younger, but is doing a fine job in representing the Muna sound to the wider house music community. Cassy's "Running" is a rolling, bass-heavy track, featuring melodramatic vocals and rasping percussion. By contrast, Andre Butano & Aldo Cadiz' "Consommer" is more full on, with doubled-up beats and a groovy, rolling rhythm supporting druggy vocals. Shifting styles again, David Mayer, the Keinemusik founder, delivers "Moonlock", a pulsating, electronic groove, while Alejandro Mosso closes out this soundtrack to one of Europe's most revered clubs with the quirky deep house of "Rayuela".

Review: Demian Muller teams up with his fellow Chilean producer Andre Butano for this heads-down dance floor release on Yousef's label. The title track sets the tone, with steely, metallic rhythms creating a tracky sound, supported by buzzing bass tones. "Esvivir" is similarly inclined and sees the duo conjure up a dense, rolling groove that slips into dreamy break downs. While David Glass' take on "Nitid Night" is led by heavy drums and tough kicks, there is also a lighter side to this release; in its original form, "Night" is a dubbed out groove full of billowing chords and trance-inspired melodies.

Review: Bringing the pristine production and punchy funk to 8 Bit, Andre Butano and Demian Muller make for a formidable pairing on this four track EP. The vibes move around quite fluidly, starting with the techy bounce of "Zhummir" which feels poised to decimate the peak time dancefloor. "Crystal" is a more rolling, sexy kind of house jam bolstered by the croon of Manu on vocals, while on the flip "Dr Beauty" returns to that functional groove space that cries out for the endless night of Berlin partying. Rounding things off, "Purple Light" heads into the bleary eyed end of such a session, letting layers of vocal and texture fall into the whirlpool of sound with pleasingly disorientating results.
