Review: Next up on End of Dayz is the third instalment of the All Stars split series. Like the previous volumes, this EP features contributions from some rising European producers. Linear System's "Dubbing" is a driving rhythm that features bleak synths and propulsive percussion. Striking a more abrasive note is Not A Headliner, whose eponymous contribution revolves around angular drums and insistent stabs. Pushing in the opposite direction, Anika Kunst's "Introspective Trip" is a chugging groove powered by robust drums, rasping percussion and hypnotic, dubby textures. That leaves Vented with the honour of upping the tempo to deliver the firing peak-time techno of "Decka".

Review: The second RSPX compilation picks up where the first volume left off, with a focus on crafty house and techno jams. This aesthetic is at the heart of the raw, jacking groove of Radio Slave's "F__k Em" and "This Is Our Groove" a hypnotic, minimal house workout from Rekids regular Confidential Recipe and Lady Tazz. It's also audible on the compilation's techno contributions: Slam's "Beat Control" sees the Soma duo infuse a looped groove with insistent, pitch-bent vocal samples and V111's "East Sex Rave" is a rousing, chord heavy affair. Meanwhile, Markus Suckut's "Flux" takes inspiration from Octave One's primal funk to bring the compilation to a mesmerising climax.

Review: Anika Kunst is a relatively new artist with just a few releases so far, but she demonstrates considerable prowess on this debut release for Rekids. The title track is a brooding affair that resonates to swirling chords and powerful kicks, while on "Tales From The Loop", she ups the pace to deliver the kind of layered, menacing techno that one would normally associate with Floorplan. In contrast, "Prism" is deeper, with Kunst dropping a rolling, dubbed out groove that's underpinned by insistent percussion. She returns to the peak time for "Constant Change", a dense tribal track that will appeal to fans of Mark Broom and Ben Sims.
