Review: Brummie twosome Main Stem seem to be upping their game with each release. "No Love" is one of their best to date, a quietly soaring slice of touchy-feely vocal business that weighs in somewhere between glistening nu-disco and sweet slow-house. Eva Lazarus sounds like former Compost Records mainstay Bajka as her immaculate, delay-laden vocal climbs above a subtle electronic groove that wouldn't feel out of place on Under The Shade. The remix package is strong, too, with Downtown Party Network (epic, piano-laden Balearic house), Ichisan (spiralling deep house) and Project Club (chugging Scandolearica) all hitting the spot. Essential.
