Review: Bulletproof are doing us all a favour with this release, simply because it's such a good collection of rolling and chopped up beats. Bulletproof FC is a vibes-heavy, breaksy release that doesn't take many prisoners. There's a whole load of artists on this particular squad and their respective talents move from grinding jump up to bumping minimality, with Elsy blending those two sonic palettes effectively on 'Feel For You'. There is industrial jump-up on 'Elephant March', as well as an especially big cut on 'On My Back', as well as other flavours mixed in. Wicked.

Review: It's time for us now to dive into some heavyweight drums action as Kre & Ingenuity join forces for a top notch two track selection, courtesy of Dub Damage UK Recordings, who here celebrate release #38. The pair join forces on the first track 'On Point', which is gnarly roller, packed with some sizzling electronic synthesizer extensions and sharp drum chops. This is definitely one to set the dance alight. We are also treated to a heavyweight Saxxon rework of Inguenuity's 'Higher' original, reworking the twisted bass tones and lively drum designs into a tasty box of goodness. Excellent work as per from the Dub Damage crew!

Review: With this release, Walking Dead Recordings have decided to represent the younger generation of jump-up producers, the hungry kids that are pushing the limits of how nuts jump-up can get before we all suffer immediate cardiac arrest. Label boss Eazy's contribution has that deeply satisfying, grating feeling to it that's reminiscent of a Bou tune, that feeling of frequencies just being pushed to their absolute limit. This is a common factor across the other three as well, in particular Premium's cut which, with glitching complexity, fills that gnarly niche of Belgian jump-up badness. Big EP.

Review: This is a big release, both literally and metaphorically. Sitting at 58 tracks, it's clear that the Dub Damage crew wanted to pack as many of their best moments as they possible could into the album. If you're a jump-up fan, think of this as a bit like the holy grail of jump-up and the inclusion of remixes and originals from dons like Original Sin, Annix, Turno and Sub Zero cement that fact. Aside from those legends, DJ Alpha comes through with 'The Man With The Golden Gun', a riotous blend of punched out bass synths, whilst Kre & Basshoven low-key steal the show with 'Toronto Blue'. A fat album this, and a lesson in how to do compilations right.

Review: Last spotted giving us shiners on G13, Ingenuity makes his debut on Profound with two boneshaking grizzlers. "Drop Kick" lives up to its name with a groaning wobbled-out bassline melting over the robust kick drums. One kick and you're down. "Rex" is equally monstrous with its multi-textured basslines weaving and bobbing between each other while theatrical horns lead the charge. Total knock out material.

Review: Gully genius: Ingenuity returns to G13 with five stinkers of the highest grade order. "On The Bench" barks, bites and barks some more with some devilishly trippy textures and motifs, "Hello" ingratiates itself with a much wobblier, swaggering funk while "You've Been Low" hits with a Supreme Being-style 70-a-day throaty rasp. Deeper into the package we sniff to find a swamp of grizzly bassline bears on "Ommatophobe" before getting all sleazy and sweaty to "Red Light". Naughty.

Review: Ingenuity continues to reach higher ground with his debut on Dub Damage. Two floor-focused jump-jams, "Higher" is all about the subtle jazzy harmonics, sultry vocal and knee-knocking bouncy bass. Listen closely and you'll hear an array of cheeky references with MC snippets and speed garage FX. Nicely done. Looking for more of a flattening fiasco? Jump straight on "Blackout" and watch your entire floor turn into a river dance. Mental.
