Review: Mettasonic is one of the few Asian labels in the game which, considering how popular the genre is across that part of the world, is quite surprising. This compilation is celebrating their third anniversary and it's aimed at shining a light on local artists across the continent, with a focus on the label's native Taiwan and China. The pick of the bunch is 'Somedays Last' from Altered Statesman, which has a wicked, meandering introduction that stretches over two minutes, before cutting out into a flurry of penetrating breaks. Naughty tune and a sick ep.
