Review: London based label Trax Couture is a creative reflection of underground music culture, that experiments with clothing and music to create innovative hybrid products. Following up great releases by Switchfoot and Artem, the Chicago legend Tyree Cooper steps up here for their sixth release, following up releases for his own Chicago Vinyl Record and a great one on BBE too - and no one delivers surefire acid jack antics like this master. From the deep/sexy swing-fuelled vocal shenanigans of "Alright Now" (DJ mix), it's then classic Tyree on the late night bounce of "Somethin" (DJ Final mix) that's the utterly entrancing with its druggy vocals, hypnotic chimes and good ol' claps on the kick.
