Review: Out there in the world of organised synth music there's a select cohort of producers pushing an unstoppable sound undeniably inspired by Berlin. This melodic German progression as its stands comes from one such act, NTO, delivering a techy, minimal and inspired approach. Drifting into pastures of trance and future balearica, this album's most affective tracks come through the emotive vocals of "Loving You Like Always" - featuring the legendary Tricky. For the long burners look to numbers like "Marlon" or groovier sections like "Zig Zag" and the breakbeat, vocal inspired "Concentrate. This LP sees its synths front-loaded, with epic patches, melodies and progressions all available for the taking in "Paul", "Isaac" and "Beyond Control". Huge!
