Review: There are very few times where you produce a tune that doesn't fade away or become tired. A man who never seems to do anything but this is Matt Darey, and for his latest on S107 he looks back to 2009's enchanting vocal winner 'See The Sun' (originally under his Urban Astronauts guise, of course). The glorious musical elements of the original and Kate Louise Smiths stunning vocal are still in tact, as Egyptian Hazen Beltagui manages to capture the original essence and emotion whilst bringing a fresher proggy edge, bang up to date for the floors of now. See it more as a fresh lick of paint rather than a whole new trakc. If you want a bit more energy and punch Toby Hedges delivers on both counts with his cut, while completing the package is yet another faultless production from that Russian pair Moonbeam.
Review: Over the past couple of years the anthem machine that is Matt Darey has hopped across multiple labels, but in the closing months of 2011 inked an exclusive deal with Aramda. He has found a very fitting home in S107, and follows 'Hold Your Breath' with another stunning vocal moment. Featuring the dreamy tones of Aelyn (Tenishia, Edu), 'Follow You' is an instantly memorable warm and emotive progressive killer. With a pacier remix from Mila & Phoenix, and a meatier electro edge on The Madisons cut, you will be able to drop this at anytime of night.

Review: With a host of timeless gems holding pride of place in the trace hall of fame, it would be all to easy for someone of Matt Darey's stature to slow down.. There is clearly no chance of that anytime soon as with 'Hold Your Breath' he is back with the biggest tune in some time. Featuring Leah on vocals duties (the essence of all Darey's biggest moments), it is khoMa and David Forbes who both do the damage on their respected remixes with an added punch and attitude to make it a floor winner as well as spine tingler!
Out Of Control (Sun Decade remix) - (7:30) 128 BPM
Review: With releases this year on Magik Muzik, Lange, and Euphonic, German uber producer Ronski Speed makes his debut on Armada sub-label S107. It is quite surprisingly to have taken this long to feature on an imprint that is perfect for his sound. Delivering the edgier and techier side of progressive with big vocals taking centre stage, which is exactly the case on 'Out Of Control'. Ranee Stahl's top-line is instantly memorable and builds in perfect harmony with Ronski's simple yet effective synth lines and refreshing elements of rock coming through in the break. The remix package covers all bases with a massive uplifting banger from Daniel Kandi, in the style he does best. Plus Dennis Sheperd and Sun Decade also turn in great alternatives.. A very fine release in deed, ending another big year for Ronski.
Review: Australia's leading trance producer/DJ returns to S107 with another glorious vocal led moment. following on from 'Never Go Back' and 'Half Light' the increasingly promising youngster once again links with the spellbinding voice of Tania Zygar. A catchy topline runs throughout with subtly layered melodies running along a fairly progressive groove. For more peaktime fodder head for the mixes from Clashback, and Walsh & McAuley.
Story Of Life (Michael Tsukerman remix) - (7:18) 128 BPM
Story Of Life (Michael Tsukerman instrumental mix) - (7:01) 128 BPM
Review: S107 is one of our favorite labels under the machine that is Armada, and this latest is prime example as to why. Malta's leading electronic duo Tenishia lock horns with Armada a&r Ruben De Ronde for the show stopping 'Story of Life'. The Maltese duo never fail to impress with a sound so solid and clear it shatters anything in its path. Some truly great remixes on offer also, highlights of which being Michael Tsukerman's cut and something deeper from Julian Wess & Mike Carey. This needs to be in the wallet, and therefore this weeks essential!
