At the start of the year RADAINT offered up a second label retrospective, "Reflection Volume 2". Now they've decided to look forwards instead, delivering a new set of exclusive, previously unheard cuts on the latest edition in their ongoing "Future" series. Progressive house veteran Dave Seaman kicks things off with the trance-inducing electronic bliss of "Stealing Amber" - all bubbly lead lines, rising chords, sustained bass tones and trance styl;e builds - before a string of lesser-celebrated artists make their mark. We're particularly enjoying the weighty, extra-percussive pulse of Jochen Pash's "Foreign Lands", the Innervisions style Afro-house/tech-house fusion of Yamil's "Wahya", the deliciously wide-eyed dreaminess of Jimmy Hop's "Other Side" and the throbbing, slowly building intensity of Nick Jojo's "Almarah", but the quality threshold remains high throughout.Get new release alerts
