In its own words, Ownlife is dedicated to the "mental and hypnotic side of techno", and these qualities are abundant on label boss Leiras' debut album. Veering in sound from the jazzed out abstractions of "Albino Species" to the hypnotic, tunnelling techno of "Orion Sentinel", and the more abrasive workout that is "Hands Gestuality", Leiras has cast his artistic gaze far and wide.
