Mindstate is the first artist on Dogger's new Precinct imprint, a label grounded in urban sonics and aesthetics which is highly likely to produce some fantastic music. At least if this first single is anything to go by, anyway, as liquid master Mindstate rolls out across two deft cuts that blend grit and soul in a manner few artists can pull off. 'Seven Satellites' is crystal clear jungle on a mission, with precise break work that feels pure and clean, backed up as it is by punchy bass stabs and a stripped back arrangement.
