The Dub Communication crew have consistently impressed us with their new school take of dub reggae flavour, pushing the boundaries at all times, without losing their connection to the roots of the sound. They welcome Smalltowndubz for a potent 5 track display, opening up with the charming chord progressions and tasteful saxophone sweeps of 'Through The Valley' alongside Sabolious, with the more urgent drum bounces of 'Acid Steps' following in rapid pursuit to keep the energy levels high. We then jump into 'Peacefull', a much slower twist through distant delays and marching drum textures, followed by the otherworldly synthetic arrangements and drum bops of 'Cosmic Space'. We then close with a killer collaboration as 'No Man's Land' welcomes Brotha Hifi for a spacey send off, giving us one final stomper to round off the EP out in style!
