Having made quite a name for himself over the past few years, Surge is back with yet another pack of dubstep-inspired delights, this time landing on the ever-ready Artikal Music imprint. We begin our journey into this selection with 'Dub Power', a percussively-driven display of bassline mastery and melodic manipulation, combining evil-harmonies to leave the hairs of the back of your neck creeping up. Next, the distant electric guitar leads and chopping drum punches of 'Reckoning' sit above powerful reesey tones before the dungeon-ready bass synths of 'Inner City' give us a superb finale.
