Review: Ivy Lab are most certainly known for their musical creativity and they here put that on display yet again as they are housed on the fantastic 20/20 LDN Recordings imprint. We kick off this wicked four tracker with the swampish, popping drum switches of 'All Day Swimming' which simmers below breathy lead melodies and above hard hitting subs. Next, 'Betty White' arrives in funkadelic fashion alongside 'Barclay Crenshaw', before the purple synth expressions 'When I Go' roll into the field of play. Finally, we take a look at the stunning percussive movements and vibrant drum work of the title track 'Stars', again showcasing just why Ivy Lab are held in such high favour by EDM heads worldwide.

Review: With a reputation for being one of the most creative artist tags in electronic music, Ivy Lab returns here for a six track extravaganza, kicking off with one hell of a collaboration. Onoe Caponoe & L-Zee Roselli are drafted in to supply some high energy vocal pressure on the title track 'Space War 169', and they most certainly deliver. The EP also boasts a strong selection of instrumental pieces, from the shuffling electronic tones of 'Wideboi' and super choppy drum slaps of 'Rococo' to the trap-like bass jangles of 'Zip It' and frankly phenomenal hip hop grooves of 'Suburbia'. This is yet another production masterclass from Ivy Lab.

Review: We are always keen to sit down and explore the more unusual areas of electronic music, often finding ourselves loving more ambient, stripped back pieces of production. With that in mind we have found an absolute gem in this brand new album from Deft, who gets busy with 12 original pieces of stunning sound design. The title track 'Cracks' shows exactly what we are in for, as a wash of colourful synths and harmonies cascade upon our ears, followed by the more experimental drum work and unpredictability of tracks like 'Rollon' and 'Scope'. For us, we have to recommend this one being taken in during a long play sitting, but want to highlight both the incredible atmospheric designs of 'Coil' and squishy percussive expanses of 'Constant K' as favourites for this one.

Review: It's safe to say that the 20/20 LDN Recordings crew have struck dynamite with this one as the engulfing sounds of Up High Collective team up with Vorace for two absolute heaters. Firstly, the circulating bass tones and creepy chord expansions of 'HelophAoo's Hunt' swarm into play, packed with unearthly energy and unique drum ideals. Secondly, we look at the completely unique title track 'Binomium', a super electronic adventure, filled to the brim with stunning synthesizer work and minimal drum movements, created a real retro feel from start to finish.
