Macabre Unit Digital certainly know how to set their standards high, a theme in which they continue to dazzle as they invite RUFUS! Inside the camp for a four track smasher. We begin with a dive into the title track 'Battle Groove', a well structured original steppers gem, driven by rolling chord movement and subtle yet grizzly bass textures. This is then followed by 'Inertia', which combines super punchy drums with swampy synthesizer designs, before 'Holographic' strips everything back to basics, combining skippy grooves and catchy melodics with incredible results.
