Review: There is nothing we love more than a tasty original garage release, and that is exactly what the dons at Four40 have delivered here as they unveil this fantastic new single from Wes Thomas. This one is a real stripped back masterpiece, focussing primarily on its stunning lead vocal, allowing the minimal drum work and concise melodic structure to provide a perfect base below. We are also lucky enough to be gifted a fantastic rework of this one as Tuff Culture steps forward on remix duty, overhauling the track with a more up-beat drum structure, scattering the vocal in classic UKG style.
Review: Kikko Martini reveals his Kick-OH guise for a pristine lesson in feather-ruffling piano-pumped house. Jacking, pumping and well polished with a big sexy vocal, it oozes unashamed fun time vibes. Remix-wise Joao Ceser lays down stripped back, dark room house mix with plenty of 808 bass. SonicC serves up a sick trap blend with a hype-rousing vocal that was last seen on a Chase & Status record. Les Tronchiennes take down the tempo and add a buzzy, clipped, nagging tech riff. Ptn ends the set with a sweet percussive affair. Slinky? You better "Believe" it.
