And here Warrington lad Danny Worrall's disco and re-edits label Masterworks Music do just that, with an anniversary collection packing a whopping 50 back catalogue nuggets. You'll excuse us the full track-by-track, then, but suffice to say that this is the label that helped launch the careers of Dr Packer and Natasha Kitty Katt, both of whom feature here, and with names like Ziggy Phunk, Rayko, Alkalino, Chuggin' Edits and Fabiolous Barker also on bill, you should already have a pretty good idea what to expect. Classy stuff all round, and a great VFM package - here's to five more years!

Review: Given the sheer volume of material he releases, Alien Disco Sugar is undoubtedly worthy of a "best-of". Happily, Gravity, Stars & Sugar provides just that, gathering together 24 of his best re-edits, remixes, mash-ups and original productions. Unsurprisingly, it's a cheery, fun-time affair, with material veering from the disco-house swing of "Music Sounds Better With You" tribute "Better With You" to sensual, filter-heavy slow jams (see "I Can So Give You Love", in particular), via a swathe of red-hot, dub-flecked disco, boogie, Balearic and P-funk revisions. Review: DJ Limited is a wanted man right now. Nicky Blackmarket, Sigma and Ed Rush all want a piece, but nobody even knows his true identity, yet. Teamed with Fatman D on "London Slums", Limited absolutely kills it with tune after tune of serious hurters. For total annihilation, look no further than "Biological Warfare", or the smooth-starting "Orders", however there is a more technical side to this production guru too, which is audible in both mixes of the immense "London Slums". Review: UK operation Saucy Record return with a swiftly compiled second volume of Saucy Selections featuring a healthy 17 cuts of Tech, Bass, House and Garage from the international community. Label regulars like Libra (UK), Melod!k, and Spekktrum brush up against Saucy newcomers and there's a pleasant array of styles and sounds to be found within this selection, moving from sultry cuts such as opener "Had Enough" by Chris Skapetis to tougher and rougher bassline movers. Review: Al Zanders aka Lodger from Sheffield presents us with some dusty deep house on the mysterious Karakul Records. Starting off is "Slender" with its mesmerising piano solo that soon gives way to some sublime deepness for lovers and night people alike. On the flip is "I Dont Want You To Judge" which rolls deep with an infectious Rhodes and bongo workout, alongside some cheeky, cut up samples to nice effect. "Let Me Be Lonely" is deep and soulful funky house with an adequate amount of filtering to boot! This guy is definitely influenced by the likes of Andres and Rick Wilhite and we like his style!

Absolutely love the half time breakdown in Night Vibes, it could quite easily be a track by itself and will be a beautiful stop gap in a set.
